Music - Live for it.
Quite honestly, I'd go mad without music. The only times I don't have music accompanyment
is when I'm outside running around or fast asleep. I spend more than I should on cds
(none of which goes to ye ole RIAA mind you), bought an iPod so I have something interesting to
do at the gym, and I feel blessed that I have a job where
I can listen to anything I want all day long; I'd kill myself if I had a job where you
had to listen to whatever was on radio ClearChannel.
If you're curious, the Music link above is a random collection of bands and places
you may not have heard of that I think are seriously worth checking out. Go take a look!
Scientology - The Taliban has nothing on these guys.
The Church/cult of Scientology is fascinatingly bizarre. Evil to the core, but fascinating nonetheless.
If you've never heard of Scientology, the link above is one of the best places to start. Was the Earth
originally a galactic prison colony? Did humans evolve from Clams? You better answer yes if you're a Scientologist.
Xenu is coming!
MacOS X - beauty and power.
Well, somebody went and finally did it:
Apple made a *NIX OS with a GUI that doesn't make one cringe in terror from the awfulness.
The developer tools rock, too.
Biking of all sorts - look ma, no hands!
Nothing beats the "my legs are gonna fall off" feeling after biking a couple hundred miles.
Well, nothing except flying down a mountain at 60mph.
Drums - just for the hell of it.
I've been a drummer since I was a little kid and still love it. I've gone more toward the
marching end of the spectrum and am looking to sell my beloved kit.
It's an early 80's Pearl 5 piece, pearl in color with fiberglass shells. Pearl only used fiberglass shells
for about a decade ('73-'84?); this set is a real collector's item.
All cymbals, hardware, and a wicked fast dw5000 Accellerator double bass pedal are included.
if you want to know all the details.
